Deliver comprehensive nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Betel Home Foundation in Gimli and Selkirk, Manitoba. Contribute to our 115-year mission of exceptional resident care.
Betel Home Foundation is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse. Under the supervision of the Director of Resident Care, you'll provide clinical direction to Health Care Aides while adhering to professional standards and ethics.
Your role will encompass following the scope of practice outlined by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba, ensuring our residents receive top quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care per established standards and procedures
• Offer clinical direction to staff, including Health Care Aides
• Fulfill professional responsibilities in line with CLPNM guidelines
• Maintain effective communication with residents and staff
• Foster positive relationships within the community
Requirements:
• Active licensure with the CLPNM or eligibility
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong clinical skills and nursing concepts knowledge
• Basic computer and electronic software proficiency
• Experience in geriatrics and dementia care preferred
