Location: Gimli
Join Betel Home Foundation as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Gimli or Selkirk, Manitoba. Provide exceptional medical care while leading Health Care Aides and practicing within established nursing standards.
Under the supervision of the Director of Resident Care, you will offer comprehensive nursing services to our residents, adhering to the Licensed Practical Nurses Act and relevant legislation. This role includes providing guidance to Health Care Aides and collaborating with fellow LPNs, ensuring the highest standards of care and support in our mission to impact community wellbeing positively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents
• Supervise and direct Health Care Aides in daily tasks
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations
• Foster positive relationships with residents and team members
• Document and communicate effectively regarding patient care
Requirements:
• Active licensure with CLPNM or eligibility for practicing licensure
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training
• Clinical nursing skills in accordance with standards
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
