Misericordia Health Centre seeks a skilled registered nurse for a maternity leave term in the PACU unit. Candidates should have two years of recent PACU, ICU, or Day Surgery experience. Preferred qualifications include previous work in a Pre-Assessment Clinic and experience with adult and pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care in the PACU
• Ensure adherence to nursing ethics and standards
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Maintain CRNM registration and CPR certification
• Assume responsibilities for ongoing education and professional growth
Requirements:
• Two years recent experience in PACU or ICU
• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program
• Bilingual in French preferred
• Strong ability to handle stressful situations
• Successful criminal record and abuse registry checks
