Part-Time Primary Health Nurse Practitioner

Deliver primary health care through critical thinking and community health expertise at Mount Carmel Clinic in a part-time position. Support clients across multiple locations as operational requirements dictate.

This term Nurse Practitioner position runs until November 9, 2027, at 0.8 FTE. Working Monday to Friday, you will provide health education and client-centered care. The interdisciplinary team supports wellness, disease prevention, complex chronic disease management, and referrals.

• Provide health education within nursing practice scope
• Deliver client-centered care within an interdisciplinary team
• Promote wellness and prevent disease or disability
• Manage complex chronic diseases and conditions
• Advocate for appropriate human services referrals

• Master’s-level Nurse Practitioner program graduation
• Registered Nurse Extended Practice licensure in Manitoba
• Five years’ RN Extended Practice experience
• Three years’ community health setting experience
• Current CPR certification and computer proficiency
