Provide medicine nursing care in person with Shared Health in Winnipeg, using clinical judgment, communication, and patient prioritization skills. This 0.70 FTE term role offers 11.63 daily hours.
As a General Duty Nurse (N2), you will work within an approved registered nursing education foundation and maintain Manitoba registration. The position requires knowledge of nursing care, professional standards, healthcare legislation, and team responsibilities. Critical thinking, adaptability, and independent practice support care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Prioritize care for individual patients or patient groups
- Respond to simultaneous demands and changing situations
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Apply delegation principles within nursing practice
- Maintain concentration during frequent interruptions
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
- Maintain registration and provide proof through CRNM
- Meet employer CPR training requirements
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Manage moderate to heavy physical effort
