Seasonal Groundskeeper

The City of Winkler is looking for energetic and positive people to join our seasonal facilities maintenance team!

This term position will be involved in groundskeeping at City Hall, the Library, Bethel Heritage Park and the PW Enns Concert Hall. Grounds keeping includes mowing, trimming, weeding, gardening, sweeping, watering plants and trees, some light maintenance, etc. Some custodial duties will also be required, including the washrooms at Bethel Park.

• An eye to see when a job is done fully and a drive to do quality work.
• Ability to do physical work outside in various weather conditions.
• You’ll be willing to learn and grow in your role!

• A valid Manitoba driver’s license.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools, especially grass/weed trimmers.
• Experience operating light equipment is an asset.
• Must have approved safety boots.
• A criminal record check may be required.

• April or May - September 2026.
• Approximately 30-40 hours per week.
• Some weekends will be required.

• Tuesday, February 17, 2026, by 8:30am.
