UTT Arborist

As the Lead Utility Tree Trimmer you’ll be at the forefront of line-clearance operations, supervising and mentoring UTT trainees and ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of trees near power lines and utility infrastructure as well as working with our regular tree maintenance crews to deliver exceptional service.

• Collaborative approach with the ability to work closely with peers, superiors and subordinates.
• The ability to access trees via aerial lift and/or rope and saddle
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including working outdoors and lifting heavy objects when necessary
• Ensure compliance with UTT standards, provincial regulations, and company safety policies.

• Current UTT/UTW certification or equivalent
• Valid Full Class 5 Driver's Licence and the ability to obtain your Class 3 with air brakes.
• Pesticide applicators licence an asset.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to work closely with peers, superiors and subordinates.

• Wage to be negotiated but we are willing to pay above average for a career minded individual that is willing to help TNT Tree grow its Utility operations
