Kahkewistahaw First Nation #72
The Environmental Lands Code Manager will be responsible for meeting the objectives of the Kahkewistahaw Land Code projects related to the use, occupancy and possession of Kahkewistahaw First Nation and the division of interests in the land specific to On and Off Reserve. Utilizing the best practices used by other First nations to meet the objectives of Chief, Council, Land Advisory Board, Administration and Band Members.
This role ensures that land use, development, and resources activities align with the land code, community values, applicable laws, and environmental practices, while integrating traditional knowledge and supporting Kahkewistahaw First Nation.
OUALIFICATIONS:
-Possess a grade 12 or equivalent, and a post-secondary diploma or Science based study.
-Work experience in a related field of two (2) years would be a definite asset.
-Possess a valid driver's license, own a reliable vehicle.
-Provide a drug screening test if selected for the position.
-Submit a current (l month from date of employment posting) criminal record check with resume/application.
-Three (3) current references with resume/application.
