Position: Safety and Risk Management Consultant Role
Join the Manitoba government in Winnipeg as a dedicated Safety, Health and Risk Management Consultant. This full-time position is pivotal in ensuring adherence to safety legislation and best practices.

Your role will include offering expert leadership and consultative services to department staff on interpreting safety regulations and conducting essential audits. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead departmental guidance on safety regulations

• Conduct investigations and site safety inspections

• Develop and deliver training sessions on risk management

• Advise on compliance with safety standards

• Stay informed on health and safety legislation changes
Requirements:

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety

• Proven experience in conducting site inspections

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Microsoft Office proficiency required

• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver's license for travel
