Join Babcock Canada as a Safety Coordinator focused on aviation safety in Winnipeg, MB. Drive compliance and support safety initiatives through audits, training coordination, and record management.
As a Safety Coordinator, you will assist in the execution of HSE audits, manage safety training efforts, and provide vital administrative support.
Your role will involve documenting safety meeting minutes and ensuring that audit findings are addressed promptly. Additionally, you will collaborate with various stakeholders while contributing to a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with HSE audit data entry and follow-ups
• Organize and coordinate safety training sessions
• Monitor safety training completion data regularly
• Record and maintain safety meeting documentation
• Manage purchase orders for safety-related purchases
Requirements:
• Diploma in Health, Safety, and Environmental or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant role
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Eligible for Canadian Secret Security Clearance
