Quality Assurance Technician

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team and help ensure our HVAC/AHU products consistently meet quality standards. In this role, you’ll perform inspections, record findings from functional and safety testing, and maintain accurate documentation, helping to prevent defects and improve processes. You’ll collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Suppliers, supporting root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive product excellence.

Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of HVAC/AHU equipment, components, parts, and subassemblies.
  • Support First Article Inspections
  • Maintain detailed inspection reports, checklists, test results, and compliance documentation.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformances using NCRs, CAPAs, or other quality tracking systems.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), verify effectiveness through follow-up inspections.
  • Calibrate and maintain inspection, test, and measurement equipment.
  • Support containment actions to prevent non-conforming products from progressing or shipping.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Suppliers to investigate root causes and implement improvements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and quality reviews.

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production, manufacturing, assembly, or quality roles.
  • Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical/Electrical Technology, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant inspection/quality experience that can be demonstrated.
