Overview

Technical Records Clerk (Permanent)

Location:

Winnipeg, Manitoba

Expected Salary: $55,346 to $69,183. To determine final salary, Babcock considers factors including the successful candidate’s skills and experience and internal equity. The final base salary offer is at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

In This Role, You Will
  • Quality Control Review of maintenance tasks and aircraft journey log entries
  • Record discrepancies found during Quality Control review of task cards and journey logs
  • Ensure discrepancies are corrected
  • Ensure parts are issued to perform maintenance tasks
  • Ensure part movement on maintenance tasks is performed as applicable
  • Scan and upload all performed maintenance tasks into the maintenance tracking software
  • File electronic copies of aircraft journey logs
  • File completed maintenance tasks
  • Update compliance on scheduled aircraft/component maintenance tasks in maintenance tracking software as required
  • Make technical record entries in the appropriate tech logs in maintenance tracking software
  • Run weekly reports and report data on Work Order Progress
  • Oversee labour tracking on maintenance tasks
  • Review part removal reports and remove these parts from records
  • Report monthly totals of discrepancies found during Quality Control review of task cards and journey logs
  • Periodic Work Order Control report reviews
  • Provide support to the Planner as required
  • Adhere to all workplace Health and Safety Regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in similar roles; previous Aviation Technical Records experience is an asset
