Position: Quality Assurance Coordinator at Gay Lea Foods

In this full-time role, you will report to the Senior Manager of Quality Assurance. Your key focus will be on implementing SQF food safety practices and ensuring adherence to HACCP protocols. This position combines audits, training, and communication about quality issues with the team, making it integral to maintaining food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement SQF and HACCP processes in the warehouse

• Conduct weekly quality compliance audits

• Train warehouse employees in quality procedures

• Compile and present KPIs for management review

• Liaise with internal and external auditors

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in food science or related field

• Formal HACCP and SQF training

• Exceptional communication skills

• Proficient in MS Office Suite

• Valid Ontario G driver’s license
