Quality Control Inspector

Position: Quality Control Inspector at Irving Shipbuilding
Take charge of exceptional paint quality as a Quality Control Inspector with Irving Shipbuilding. You will handle inspections, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure project success.

In this crucial Quality Control Inspector role, you'll uphold the highest standards in paint finishes while maintaining ISO compliance. A Red Seal Trade Certification or equivalent experience is necessary to bring three to five years of relevant inspection expertise. Your work will focus on preventing defects and enhancing continuous improvement in the shipbuilding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth inspections of painting and surface preparations

• Collaborate with customers for project sign-offs

• Assess specifications and integrate hold points

• Review production reports for accuracy and compliance

• Prepare non-conformance reports to uphold quality standards

Requirements:

• Red Seal Trade Certification or equivalent experience

• 3-5 years of quality inspection experience

• Shipbuilding inspection experience is preferred

• Proficient in MS Office and Share Point

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
