Enhance quality assurance processes with Aplin as a Quality Control Specialist in Winnipeg. Support product evaluations, audits, and compliance with international standards and customer requirements. Aplin's Winnipeg-based client is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to bolster their quality monitoring and evaluation efforts. You will assist in implementing, monitoring, and improving quality systems while conducting audits to IATF 16949 standards.
Your role will include problem-solving through the 8D process and collaborating with teams to ensure product conformity.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in implementing and controlling the Quality System
- Perform periodic process and product audits for compliance
- Prepare for and assist during External Audits
- Oversee non-conforming material disposition
- Facilitate training for inspection and production personnel
- Engineering degree or technical diploma preferred
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of 8D problem solving and PPAP
- Proficient in Excel and ISO/IATF processes
- Solid English communication skills
