Vehicle Inspection Specialist Team Leader

OPENLANE is seeking a detailed‑oriented leader to oversee a vehicle inspection team, conduct quality audits, and coordinate inspection activities in an automotive remarketing environment.

• Complete thorough vehicle inspections, obtaining accurate assessments and taking detailed photographs for reports and Live/Dealer Blocks.
• Provide training, coordination, and oversight to Vehicle Inspectors, ensuring inspection quality through routine audits and manufacturer update monitoring.
• Act as an intermediary between Vehicle Inspectors and internal customer representatives to communicate results and facilitate necessary adjustments.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Vehicle Inspector.
• High School diploma or equivalent education/experience.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and ability to drive both standard and automatic transmissions.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with a smartphone and computers.

• One year of experience in a body shop or mechanical environment.
• Experience or proficiency with AMS (Auction Management System).
