QC In-Line Inspector

Position Overview

The QC In-Line Production Inspector is responsible for checking in-process quality during production. They are required to report defects using a tablet and notify the appropriate personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct QC inspection and identify defects based on CG quality criteria during day-to-day activities.
  • Inspect and follow up on daily repairs from the production floor.
  • May speak and communicate with operators on sewing issues.
  • Inform other QA team members about issues.
  • Daily follow-up on implementation and maintenance of quality standards.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Production and QA team regarding the garment’s quality performance.
  • Complete all other duties as required to support the mission of the Production and QA department.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures and is available to work extra hours when needed.
What You’ll Need
  • Experience in the Garment Industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction.
  • Must be proactive and take accountability of assigned projects.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, operate proactively, work as a team and handle challenges.
  • Excellent common sense, decision-making abilities, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to evaluate options and generate solutions.
  • Confident, articulate, organized, detail-oriented, goal-oriented, self-motivated, and hard-working.
Working Conditions
  • Manufacturing environment
  • Working with products that include feathers
  • Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 8 hours
  • Regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach both below the waist and above the head
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. daily
  • Walk in and around the factory with great frequency
