Position: Health and Safety Coordinator at CHEP
Join CHEP as a Health and Safety Coordinator, focusing on safety initiatives in a hybrid work environment. You'll lead safety audits, compliance, and training to foster a culture of safety.

As a key member of CHEP, you will support all health, safety, and environmental initiatives within the manufacturing facility.

Your role involves conducting thorough safety audits, implementing company SOPs, facilitating essential training, and maintaining compliance with HSE regulations. You will also manage incident investigations and promote proactive safety measures among plant personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety audits and compliance checks regularly

• Implement and monitor safety and environmental SOPs

• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses

• Facilitate safety training and orientations for new hires

• Maintain accurate safety documentation and records

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Safety or related field

• 1-3 years of HSE experience in manufacturing

• Knowledge of safety management and claims management

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
