Step into a pivotal role as a Quality Control Co-Op Student with Amrize. Engage in hands-on testing of concrete and aggregates while supporting infrastructure projects across North America.
In this position, you will be instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Working alongside engineering professionals, you will develop a deep understanding of concrete technology and industry best practices. This opportunity is available for a 4-month or 8-month term, tailored to your career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct basic physical testing of plastic and hardened concrete
• Collaborate with precasters and external organizations
• Plan and execute regular materials testing schedules
• Ensure compliance with CSA and ASTM standards
• Input and analyze test results for quality assurance
Requirements:
• Current student in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Interest in pursuing P. Eng. designation
• Experience in precast industry preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to safety protocols and PPE usage
