FSQA Team Leader Heritage Facility

Lead food safety and quality assurance at Maple Leaf Foods’ Heritage facility through audits, verification, monitoring, and corrective actions.
The FSQA Team Leader supervises QA Process Leaders and administers food safety programs. This role coordinates staffing, training, audits, HACCP updates, environmental monitoring, and cross-functional compliance activities. Success requires food manufacturing supervision, quality systems knowledge, and strong communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise QA Process Leaders and review task performance
Administer quality and food safety programs
Prepare teams for third-party audits
Investigate deviations and issue corrective actions
Analyze environmental data and provide improvement feedback
Requirements:
Three-plus years supervising FSQA in food manufacturing
Post-secondary education; chemistry or microbiology preferred
Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, GFSI, and allergen controls
Ability to build teams and partnerships independently
English communication and Microsoft Office proficiency
