Step into a transformative role as a Research Assistant at the University of Winnipeg, engaging with Queer Youth Voices through collaborative performance and research. Contribute to a unique project running from July 2026 to June 2027.
This position is open for three research assistants who will assist in the artistic creation of a performance based on findings from gender play workshops. Responsibilities include supporting research documentation, analyzing data, and coordinating script development. Candidates should resonate personally with the experiences of diverse youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in producing reports, publications, and presentations
• Analyze interviews for performance-oriented data
• Help create scripts and document creative ideas
• Facilitate skill development workshops with research teams
• Participate in community performances to receive feedback
Requirements:
• Introduction to Theatre:
Performance or equivalent training
• Focus on play writing, performance, or devised work
• Lived experience relevant to project participants
• Eligibility to work in Canada
• Commitment from July 2026 to June 2027
