Position: Research Associate for Agricultural Innovation
Become a pivotal part of the Manitoba Consortium for Digital Agriculture as a Research Associate. Engage in high-level project management and drive innovation in digital agriculture.
This part-time role, extending until December 31, 2028, requires collaboration with researchers to support an array of digital agriculture projects. You will be responsible for managing project resources, tracking funding opportunities, and organizing critical research events that impact the agricultural value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor project progress and set timelines

• Assist in hiring highly qualified personnel

• Prepare accurate reports for funding compliance

• Organize workshops and facilitate stakeholder engagement

• Promote the uptake of innovative agricultural technologies
Requirements:

• Master’s in a relevant field or equivalent experience

• Exceptional written and verbal communication

• Experience in managing research projects and budgets

• Proficiency in engaging technical and non-technical audiences

• Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills
Support agricultural innovation and network with industry leaders at MCDA, contributing to Manitoba’s growth in digital agriculture.
