Position: Volunteer Research Assistant at Roots of Empathy
Enhance children's emotional growth as a Volunteer Research Assistant with Roots of Empathy in Toronto, Ontario. Contribute to vital evaluations that promote empathy and social innovation.

This volunteer role supports the Research Team in evaluating impactful programs. Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed degrees in social sciences and possess strong organizational skills. You will actively assist in qualitative research to improve children's emotional intelligence through proper evaluation methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scan and categorize student artwork and client feedback

• Organize transparent records for submitted research materials

• Identify quotes reflecting program impact for evaluations

• Assist with clerical tasks and data entry as required

• Attend research meetings and contribute to team efforts

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in social sciences or relevant experience

• Strong organizational and effective communication skills

• Background in research or administration is a plus

• Knowledge of child development is beneficial

• Minimum commitment of 7.5 hours per week
