Join the Development Approvals Process Review as a Research Assistant in North Vancouver, focusing on municipal land use research and documentation. This temporary position runs from June 15 to August 28, 2026.
This role within the District of North Vancouver targets individuals aged 15-30, looking to gain experience in the Planning, Properties, and Permits division. Responsibilities include researching land approval processes, synthesizing findings into actionable insights, and reporting on results. Key Responsibilities- Research land use approval processes in various jurisdictions
- Document and analyze information to provide helpful insights
- Create summary reports for internal communication
- Participate in team meetings and respond to feedback
- Work collaboratively with interdepartmental teams
- Aged 15-30, legally entitled to work in Canada
- Completed 12th grade with relevant training or experience
- Must not have another full-time summer job
- Educational background in planning or architecture preferred
- Strong commitment to project deadlines
