Position: NITHA Researcher for Cancer Projects
Become a key player at NITHA as a Researcher working on special projects like the Cancer Project. Collaborate with coordinators, support evaluation efforts, and lead impactful research initiatives.

This full-time role requires strategic planning and collaboration with the NITHA Public Health Unit Staff, Medical Health Officer, and partner organizations. You will implement and coordinate essential research activities while leveraging your knowledge of research methodologies and ethics to support project goals effectively. Apply your skills in statistical research and foster meaningful partnerships that benefit community health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on the Cancer Project and other special initiatives

• Support Project Coordinators and Steering Committee effectively

• Plan and implement comprehensive research activities

• Assist in project evaluation and data summarization

• Work with NITHA internal staff and external partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related field

• Minimum two years in statistical research analysis

• In-depth knowledge of research methodologies

• Understanding of First Nations OCAP principles

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
