Position: Research Technician 3 - Epidemiology Focus )

Join the Conklin Lab as a Research Assistant/Technician 3, where your work will help shape key studies in cardiovascular risk factors. Engage in systematic reviews and support data analysis in a supportive environment.

This position within the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences demands expertise in public health, particularly in epidemiology. You will coordinate data extraction, perform comprehensive meta-analysis, and assist in preparing research reports. Informal mentorship of newer lab members is a crucial component of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct systematic literature reviews and data preparation
Utilize advanced statistical techniques in meta-analysis
Prepare reports and manuscripts for publication
Present research findings to lab team and PI
Guide new lab members on routine procedures

Requirements

Relevant technical program or degree completion
At least three years of related experience
Background in equity, diversity, and inclusion
Familiarity with statistical software tools
Excellent time management and communication skills
