Technical Assistant Research

Compensation

CAD 22.60 - 33.90 per hour.

The Technical Research Assistant will support a SSHRC-funded knowledge synthesis examining ecological determinants, digital sustainability, and artists’ health. Working within the Artists’ Health Centre at UHN, the assistant will contribute to literature screening, data organization, and preparation of knowledge synthesis outputs. The assistant will have a chance to participate in data synthesis and analysis, and manuscript preparation.

• Conduct literature searches across academic and grey literature sources.
• Perform title/abstract screening and support study selection processes.
• Extract and organize data using standardized templates.
• Assist in developing evidence tables, summaries, and visual outputs.
• Support preparation of reports, infographics, and presentations.
• Assist with knowledge mobilization activities (webinars, materials).
• Other project-related duties as assigned.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (health sciences, arts, social sciences, or related field).
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience in literature review methods, data synthesis, and data analysis.
• Interest in arts, health, sustainability, or research methods.
• Knowledge in artists’ health and/or ecological determinants of health is an asset.
