4. Engage in laboratory operations and training, focusing on practical research methodologies.
Starting June 24, 2024, this position offers up to 35 hours a week on impactful research projects. You will oversee sample processing, data collection, and help coordinate new staff orientations.
Your role will enhance research effectiveness while fostering lab compliance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute daily operations of the research laboratory
• Supervise sample processing and lab assistants
• Ensure compliance with research protocols and regulations
• Deliver progress reports to team members and stakeholders
• Assist in drafting grant applications and research reports
Requirements:
• Completion of a community college program mandatory
• Bachelor degree in a relevant field preferred
• Minimum of three years related experience required
• Proficiency in PCR, immunoassays, and microscopy required
• Ability to train and mentor staff in research techniques
Advance your expertise in research technologies and mentorship in a supportive laboratory setting.
