Shift Ground Axis is looking for a motivated intern for the Agri-STEM & Food Systems Research Internship from July 6 to December 31, 2026. This paid position suits youth with interests in agricultural practices, hydroponics, and community food security. Responsibilities include researching local food initiatives and aiding in the preparation of learning materials to facilitate knowledge transfer and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research hydroponics and controlled-environment agriculture

• Conduct partner site visits and discussions

• Document findings and prepare summaries

• Assist in creating internal planning documents

• Identify training needs for youth in food systems

Requirements:

• Interest in agriculture and environmental studies

• Effective communication and organization skills

• Curiosity driven to learn and engage

• Familiarity with research methodologies

• Comfort visiting partner organizations
