Position: Quantitative Economist at CSA Group
Join CSA Group as a Senior Economist focusing on economic analysis and public policy impacts. Engage in quantitative modeling and stakeholder collaboration in a dynamic setting.

Operating within the Public Policy Centre, you will conduct high-level economic analyses and lead crucial research initiatives. Your skills in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics will allow you to frame findings as actionable recommendations for policy. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and external partners to advance your research and ensure clear communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead economic research and policy evaluation projects

• Create quantitative models to understand policy impacts

• Report and brief stakeholders with research findings

• Maintain engagement with policymakers at multiple forums

• Collaborate across teams to encourage knowledge sharing

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Economics or related field

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in economic analysis

• Proficiency in software like Stata or R

• Strong communication and writing skills

• Bilingual in French and English
