You will hold a Master's degree and bring a strong background in soil physics and laboratory work. The position requires extensive experience with data analysis software like SAS and Python, and familiarity with HYDRUS modelling. Your responsibilities will include conducting student training, overseeing research experiments, and directly supporting data collection and analysis efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and manage research experiments in field and lab settings
• Guide and educate undergraduate and graduate research assistants
• Collect and analyze soil data effectively
• Develop statistical analysis and modelling tools
• Write comprehensive research reports and manuscripts
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in soil science or related field
• Strong skills in data management with SAS and Python
• Proven lab and field experience
• Understanding of remote sensing and environmental assessments
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Engage in meaningful research related to soil physics and contribute to impactful scientific advancements at the University of Manitoba.
