This position will allow graduate or undergraduate students to apply their historical knowledge while overseeing research assistants. You'll engage in literature reviews, archival research, and directly support a podcast production. Successful candidates will blend academic rigor with creative outreach in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare equipment and materials for research projects
• Schedule and conduct oral history interviews
• Perform academic research in libraries and archives
• Assist with the production of the Preserves podcast
• Prepare literature reviews in Manitoba food history
Requirements:
• History Major with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• TCPS2: CORE-2022 research ethics certificate
• Previous experience conducting oral history interviews
• Familiarity with digital audio recorders
• Willingness to learn archival practices
