Position: Lead Research Technician Role in Education
Enhance educational research at the University of Manitoba as a Lead Research Technician. This part-time role involves managing and executing essential research projects focused on equity.

This grant-funded position spans from July 2026 to January 2028, with flexible hours of up to 35 per week. Candidates should possess significant expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research, along with a minimum of five years in a university setting. You will be responsible for coordinating research efforts, participant engagement, and overall project administration, ensuring compliance with ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct systematic reviews and summarize literature

• Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively

• Facilitate data collection and analysis processes

• Prepare ethics board submissions and maintain compliance

• Organize research team meetings and communications

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or PhD in social sciences

• Proven experience with large-scale research projects

• Understanding of statistical and data analysis software

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
