In this term role under Dr. Janis Thiessen, you will leverage your history background to conduct interviews, prepare literature reviews, and assist in the production of the Preserves podcast. Your engagement will greatly contribute to the understanding of food history, while working alongside collaborators and researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct archival research on Manitoba food history
• Prepare materials for oral history interviews
• Assist in writing articles, publications, and presentations
• Schedule interviews and assist in podcast recording
• Support data collection and analysis activities
Requirements:
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 in History Major
• TCPS2: CORE-2022 research ethics certificate required
• Experience with audio recorders and transcription software
• Previous oral history interview experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
