Pioneer Multiple Sclerosis research as the Waugh Family Chair at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. This full-time, five-year position enables you to transform clinical research into meaningful patient outcomes.

We welcome applications from candidates qualifying for the rank of Associate or full Professor in this high-impact role focused on advancing knowledge in MS. The successful applicant will spearhead innovative research, secure external funding, and engage in mentorship. The position emphasizes creating partnerships within diverse research networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead pioneering MS research initiatives

• Drive funding acquisition and grant management

• Mentor post-docs and graduate students

• Cultivate national and international research partnerships

• Collaborate with the Manitoba Center for Proteomics and Systems Biology

Requirements:

• Proof of Canadian citizenship or eligibility for permanent residency

• MD, MD/MSC, or MD/PhD in Neurology

• Strong track record in MS translational research

• Effective mentor with collaboration experience
