In this pivotal position within Genentech's Cell Therapy Process Development team, you will lead strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing cell culture media platforms for a variety of cell therapies. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you will be the technical authority guiding the use of metabolomics tools to advance our understanding of cell metabolism and ensure successful technology transfer initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop tailored media platforms for diverse cell therapy products
• Utilize metabolomics and computational tools for enhanced performance
• Collaborate on translating lab innovations into commercial processes
• Provide expert guidance for optimizing raw material selection
• Mentor team members to foster an inclusive workplace
Requirements:
• Advanced degree (PhD) in biological sciences or related field
• 5+ years in metabolomics or related R&D
• Demonstrated leadership in complex project management
• Strong relationship-building across functional teams
• Proven ability to communicate scientific concepts effectively
