Based in Pleasanton, CA, this hands-on role blends leadership with technical expertise. You will guide junior scientists and foster an innovative culture while implementing and optimizing NGS workflows. Key Responsibilities:
• Prototype and optimize sequencing assay workflows
• Design experiments to align with pharmaceutical project needs
• Partner with internal and external teams for workflow analysis
• Lead pilot collaboration projects to promote Axelios technology
• Identify new tech opportunities for R&D advancements
Requirements:
• PhD in relevant discipline with 5+ years of experience
• In-depth knowledge of NGS beyond library preparation
• Ability to troubleshoot complex assay challenges
• Proficient in bioinformatics and sequencing metrics
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration
