This contract role focuses on assisting laboratory operations, conducting disease screenings, and managing field trial activities. By collaborating closely with plant pathology and breeding teams, you'll contribute to innovative crop development aligned with commercial goals. Key Responsibilities:
• Support lab operations and pathogen culturing
• Conduct controlled-environment disease resistance evaluations
• Manage disease screening projects and seed treatment trials
• Collect and document plant health data during field trials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements
Requirements:
• Degree in Plant Pathology or related field
• Strong detail orientation and organizational skills
• Ability to work in diverse environmental conditions
• Quick learner and effective communicator
• Willingness to work overtime and adapt as needed
