Our CORPORATE OFFICE has an exciting opportunity for aDIGITAL MERCHANDISING SPECIALIST to join our team! What You Will Do

The Digital Merchandising Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of FGI’s digital merchandising foundations across e-commerce platforms. This role focuses on organizing product assortments, managing product content and relationships, and optimizing navigation and discoverability to ensure products are accurate, purchasable, and aligned with category strategies.

You will work with your team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:

  • Manage Product Data & Content:
    Ensure accurate and complete product information across PIM and e-commerce platforms, identify and resolve data/content gaps, and coordinate creation of product assets and relationships (substitutes, accessories, related items, etc.).
  • Support Digital Merchandising Execution:
    Collaborate with Category Management, Pricing, Marketing, IT, and Data teams to launch and validate products, optimize category structure, navigation, filters, search, and overall site findability.
  • Monitor Performance & Continuous Improvement:
    Track key metrics (conversion, average order value, attachment rates), contribute improvement ideas, and maintain reliable schedule adherence and punctuality.
  • Other duties as assigned
What We Require
  • Secondary school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of digital merchandising, e-commerce, or category management experience (B2B preferred)
  • Experience working with large, complex product catalogues, and optimizing on-site search and faceted navigation.
  • Previous experience with PIM and B2B e-commerce platforms (Akeneo and Oro Commerce preferred).
  • Previous experience with Google Analytics (GA4) is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Epicor or other enterprise ERP systems is preferred (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, MS Dynamics).
  • Familiarity with aftermarket parts or heavy-duty parts is preferred but not required
  • Frequently sitting, standing, and walking inside the branch.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard office equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence
