Dairy-Deli Frozen Clerk

Duties & Responsibilities

Stocking & Merchandising

• Unload pallets and stock shelves with dairy, deli, and frozen products.

• Rotate stock and check for expired items.

• Ensure products are properly labeled and priced.

• Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented displays.

• Receive & Handle Inventory

• Help unload deliveries and check for quality and accuracy.

• Move stock from storage to the sales floor.

• Report damaged or missing items.
Cleanliness & Safety

• Keep work areas, coolers, and storage spaces clean and tidy.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures.

• Ensure proper temperature checks and equipment use.
Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and assist with product questions.

• Carry items to vehicles when needed. Support Store Operations

• Assist with deliveries and warehouse organization.

• Use store systems to check stock and assist with orders.

• Ensure correct pricing and shelf labels.

• Assist with special tasks and promotions as needed.

• Follow instructions from the Department Manager and support team goals.

Note:

Other duties may be assigned from time to time as per the business needs.

Qualifications

• A team player with an attention for detail

• Work with little or no supervision

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Flexibility to work a variety hour which may include days, evenings, and weekends

• Able to lift approximately up to 50lbs at a time

• Availability to work afternoons, evenings and weekends
