This position involves coordinating flight crew schedules, handling vacation requests, and ensuring proper staffing through ongoing communication with HR and Flight Operations. Reporting to the SOCC Manager, the Crew Planner must possess excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills to thrive in this role. A high level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create crew schedules compliant with regulatory standards
• Work with HR to post position bids during roster deficiencies
• Liaise with multiple departments in Flight Operations
• Release monthly crew bids in accordance with agreements
• Oversee payroll processes for all operational crew members
Requirements:
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite required
• Experience in Flight Operations is an asset
• Ability to obtain security clearances
• Awareness training related to Indigenous cultures preferred
