Job Overview  We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, demonstrating products, and driving sales through excellent service and effective communication.

This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in technology sales, merchandising, and customer engagement within a fast-paced retail environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with POS systems are highly valued to enhance the shopping experience for diverse clientele.
Responsibilities   Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
Assist customers in selecting products, providing product demos, and explaining features, especially for technology-related items
Conduct sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash or card payments with proper cash handling procedures
Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales and meet store targets
Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are properly stocked and labeled
Manage time effectively to assist multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
Demonstrate strong communication skills, including phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or follow-up calls
Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring the store workplace is inviting
Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and elevate concerns when necessary
Qualifications   Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or cashiering is preferred
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities such as Spanish or other languages are a plus
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
Knowledge of technology products and ability to conduct product demos is advantageous
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting
Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a helpful approach
Strong organizational skills to maintain store presentation standards
