Bakery Clerk - Part Time evenings, weekends

Position

Part Time Bakery Clerk (with benefits) at Portage la Prairie Food Store location.

Reporting to the Bakery Manager, your duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the day‑to‑day operations of the bakery
• Merchandising
• Quality control
• Packaging
• Housekeeping
• Inventory control
• Adhering to safe food handling practices at all times
• Lifting at least 50 pounds throughout the day

You are looking for a career in retail and possess the following qualities:

• Cake decorating experience an asset
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to problem solve
• Highly motivated
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
• Honest, trustworthy, results‑oriented, with a desire to be the best in what you do
