As a Merchant, your responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to ensure that product assortment aligns with business goals. You’ll analyze sales and inventory data to uncover insights that drive category success and customer satisfaction. Successful candidates will be adept in negotiations and possess strong analytical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement category planning with merchandising manager
• Supervise product assortment across retail and online channels
• Lead vendor program negotiations for pricing and promotions
• Analyze sales data to manage slow-moving inventory
• Design marketing strategies for proprietary branded products
Requirements:
• BS Degree in Business or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in category management
• Exceptional analytical, organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft software
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel as necessary
