Retail Sales Associate

• Greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services required
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
• Replace used stock, rotate current stock, and ensure satisfactory inventory levels
• Participate in merchandising and promotional activities for accessories
• Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards
• Adapt communication style to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals
• Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company positively
• Calm irate customers by explaining situations and attempting to resolve issues
• Take customer orders and prepare products for purchase
• Ensure customer satisfaction with issue resolution and the resolution process
• Assist with merchandise displays and inventory management
• Ensure accuracy in transactions, inventory, and procedures
• Participate in store maintenance and general housekeeping
• Work with management and employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence
• Answer and transfer external and internal phone calls
• Adhere to health, safety, security, and company policies and procedures
• Identify customers as required by the Cannabis Retail Store Handbook
• Prepare merchandise for purchase

• Must have valid Sell Safe Certification
• Post Secondary degree / diploma preferred
• A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset
• Ability to work any shift based on business needs, Monday to Sunday
• Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations
• Experience in sales and customer service preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to compute basic mathematical problems
• Attention to detail
• Passion and excitement for cannabis and all of its derivatives
• Desire to educate customers and the community about the benefits associated with cannabis use without giving medical advise
