Stock Associate

Role Description  The Stock Associate role in a hugh volume store in Polo Park mall is a full-time, on-site position based in Winnipeg, MB. In this role, the Stock Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, and storing inventory and supplies used for property operations and resident services. Day-to-day tasks include processing shipping and receiving documents, maintaining accurate inventory records, replenishing stock levels, and supporting loss prevention procedures.

This role may involve light physical work such as lifting, moving, climbing ladders, and organizing stock in storage areas while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
Qualifications
Ability to manage Shipping & Receiving activities, including checking deliveries, verifying documentation, and organizing incoming and outgoing materials.

Experience with Inventory Control processes, such as tracking stock levels, conducting counts, and updating inventory systems accurately.
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to help safeguard company property, reduce shrinkage, and support secure storage procedures.
Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, support internal stakeholders, and interact respectfully with vendors.
Attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
Capability to perform moderate physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Previous experience in stocking, warehouse, property management, or related roles is an asset.
High school diploma or equivalent education preferred; willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
