Gas Jockey​/Gas Bar Associate

Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Gas Jockey / Gas Bar Associate at Wavers and BON Community Store. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service while assisting customers with fuel purchases and helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming gas bar environment.

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Safely pump gasoline and diesel fuel for customers.
• Assist customers with fuel purchases and general questions.
• Process cash, debit, and credit transactions when required.
• Provide receipts and ensure transactions are completed accurately.
• Keep fuel pumps, surrounding areas, and work spaces clean and organized.
• Restock supplies and merchandise as required.
• Monitor the gas bar area and immediately report spills, hazards, equipment issues, or suspicious activity.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Follow established procedures for fuel handling and emergency situations.
• Provide courteous and respectful service to all customers.
• Assist other staff members as required.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to stand and remain active for extended periods.
