As a Museum Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in environments in one of our museum setting.

• Hourly wage of $18.17
• We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through Garda World Academy
• Permanent shifts: Sunday ), Tuesday to Friday )

• Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular interior patrols to ensure site safety and compliance with museum policies
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Complete daily activity and incident reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Manage crowds, ensuring they remain orderly and safe during events, and exhibitions.
• Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras.
• Manage entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and granting authorized access.

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification an asset
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• French language skills not Mandatory but an asset
• Be able to provide proof of PR status or Canadian citizen status due to reliability clearances requirement.
