As a Commercial Security Guard, there is a high focus on desk duties, Scheduled Patrolling and customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in a High profile Corporate environment

Responsibilities for Commercial Building Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Performing Patrol ( Interior and Exterior ) at the Premises (Stairwells, Hallways and Common Areas )regularly to maintain order and establish presence and identify potential risks
• Respond to any complaints from visitors of staff including response and corrective action
• Observing and reporting any issues, deficiency or incident that occurs on the site
• Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault and other safety issues.
• Complete Daily reports, maintenance log and Incident Reports.
• Daily monitoring of CCTV.

Qualifications for Commercial Building Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification an asset
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience as a Security guard in a high profile site (asset)
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
