Vancouver Coastal Health Security Professional

Securicare seeks a Vancouver Coastal Health Security Professional to support healthcare security across multiple sites. This remote role focuses on creating safe environments for patients and staff alike.

As a critical member of the team, your duties will extend from access monitoring to proactive responses for security incidents. Strong observational skills and the ability to act decisively in emergencies are vital. You will interact respectfully with individuals and leverage de-escalation techniques to ensure overall safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor entry points and manage access control

• Execute patrols and address any security threats

• Respond to incidents and follow established protocols

• Engage positively with patients and healthcare staff

• Document incidents and report essential information

Requirements:

• Valid BC Security Guard License and AST certification

• Over 1 year experience in a security capacity

• Effective communication with diverse groups

• Calm under pressure with outstanding problem-solving skills

• Flexibility for shift work, including weekends and holidays
